Local Attractions

We are approximately two and a half miles from Alton Towers, no more than 10 minutes by car. Everyone knows about the rides that make this the most popular theme park in the UK but the gardens are also magnificent.

PLEASE NOTE Carriba Creek and the Spar at Alton Towers are now open to non residents.

Alton Towers is by no means the only attraction in the Staffordshire Moorlands area. There is much to offer visitors of all ages and tastes. The local factory pottery shops open all year round, and are always popular with guests. Wedgwood, Spode, Moorcroft, Churchill, Portmeirion and several other internationally known potteries have visitor centres or shops and the Gladstone museum offers "hands on" pottery making and painting for all ages.
